The medXmas 2025 Winter Carnival at SGRRIMH&S unfolded as a lively, well-orchestrated event by the MBBS Batch of 2023.

The evening began with the welcome of the chief guests: Dr. K. Prathapan the Vice Chancellor of SHRR university and Dr. Utkarsh Sharma the Principal of SGRRIMH&S, and other dignitaries like Dr Harmeet kaur the chairperson of the cultural committee of college, Dr Lalit kumar the head of disciplinary committee and Dr Nidhi Jain the academic head of the college,escorted to the stage by members of the organizing committee from the MBBS Batch of 2023.

Following the introduction, Bhumi’s girls’ group dance set the cultural tone with a coordinated performance that blended Bollywood and festive beats. The mood turned melodic as Kshita took the stage for a solo singing act, after which Pranjal and Bhumi presented a duet dance, drawing loud cheers for their synchronization and expressions. Next came Dhriti’s singing performance and jaipratap’s soulful shayari, adding a poetic and emotional layer to the early part of the program. Prajay’s singing continued the musical streak, leading into a fun round of musical chairs organised by Arshdeep, Arpita, and Manroop, which brought audience participation and laughter to the forefront. Eshita then delivered a solo singing performance, followed by a dynamic dance by Seeyona and Priyanshi that showcased coordination and energy. The “treasure hunt” segment, coordinated by Kshita, Suhani, and Kaushal, briefly took the excitement off the stage and around the venue as teams raced to solve clues Once everyone gathered back, Pranjal Soni got to the spotlight with a singing performance,Vibhuti’s singing added another distinct voice to the line-up, after which Priti and Pallavi led a “Sync or Sink” segment, encouraging participants to match steps and rhythm in a fun, competitive spirit. Group singing by Pranjal, Chirayu, and Prajay brought multiple voices together, and Pranjal Soni then shifted gears from vocalist to dancer with a dedicated dance performance followed by a soulful singing performance by PG2nd year student Dr Narender.

The final stretch of performances began with a girl’s duet dance led by Titiksha and Vibhuti followed by a spirited number by Raj and Akshat that combined style with crowd interaction. Ashish goyal delivered a melodious solo singing performance, while a boys’ bhangra sequence injected high-octane energy with traditional Punjabi moves. As night deepened, the college band FLAMES by Ashish goyal,Adarsh singh,Deepanshu,Aditya seemtosh,Abhay Parmar took over setting the night on fire, building momentum into the much-awaited DJ night, where students, interns, and faculty came together on the dance floor.

The Winter Carnival was not only about music and dance, it was also a feast of flavours and creativity that kept the grounds buzzing with activity. Food aromas mixed with festive lights as students, faculty, and families moved from stall to stall, turning the medXmas 2025 evening into a true carnival experience.A dedicated food court lined with popular brands and local favourites quickly became one of the most crowded zones of the carnival. Domino’s, Burger Singh, Bombay Pav Bhaji, Belgian Waffles, Blue Tokai, Gianis Doon Bake House, Jingle Bites, Sip & Snow, Angeethi, Tikka Times, Gianis kept everyone supplied with food and drinks.Alongside the food, a vibrant stretch of merchandise and activity stalls added colour and charm to the venue. AK Gifts, Anya Creations, a crochet shop, Ishqa De Lekhen flower shop and Nature’s Origin offered handmade accessories, flowers, souvenirs and eco-friendly products, while heaven studies and Gaming Eve set up fun stalls & games that drew constant crowds.

A special mention must go to the core student organisers whose dedication turned medXmas 2025 Winter Carnival from an idea into a memorable reality. Jaipratap Singh Sidhu, Oneeka Setia, Kartik Kaushik and Titiksha Rawat worked tirelessly for weeks coordinating performers, liaising with faculty, managing vendors and ensuring that every performance, stall and announcement ran smoothly on the day of the event, their teamwork showed in the seamless flow of the program.

The smooth and safe conduct of the medXmas 2025 Winter Carnival owed a great deal to the student disciplinary committee, which quietly managed order behind the scenes. The consistent presence and alertness of Vidhi Dimri, Talha Siddiqui, Ayush Chaudhary, Sanskriti Aggarwal, Neveditta Ghughtyal, Abhinav Madaan, Tamanna Sharma, Kabir Dhir, Anish Singhla, Priyanshi and Aarohan Dudeja ensured that every guest could enjoy the performances, stalls and DJ night without disruption, reflecting their commitment to responsibility and teamwork. The success of medXmas 2025 Winter Carnival was also made possible by the generous support of its sponsors, whose contributions helped elevate the scale and quality of the celebrations.
